2021 dates
Jan 22nd - Feb 5th: sign ups open
Feb 5th - 9th: initial survey/preferences va google form
Feb 19th: Assignments out (at the latest - we'd aim to have them out earlier!)
March 19th: Check in one (please tell us, via email or on the comm post, that you're on track)
April 23rd: Check in two, and addresses go out
May 14th: Posting deadline

Please copy and paste the text from the box below into a comment.

Please remember that this year, with us sending out a survey to help with matching, we need more information about both what you like and what you make. Feel free to include links etc. When we send out the survey, it will ask you for the names of people you would love to receive craft from, those you'd like to make craft for, and those you're not a compatible match with. These surveys will be private to the mods only.

Name: We don’t need your real name right now. We'll ask for that when we get your address for your crafter.
Email: PLEASE make sure it’s one that you check regularly. There are a few times throughout the fest that we will need to get a hold of you via email.
Things you love: We need to know what hobbies, interests and fandoms make you happy. Please be specific as you can, from favorite color, favorite character, favorite song, etc etc...You don’t want a Gryffindor scarf if you’re in Slytherin now do you? Or let's say you put that one of your interests is horses, but you are terrified of unicorns, you wouldn’t want any of those showing up on an embroidered thing, would you? Also, if you don’t want fandom related things, or only want fandom related things, let us know that too. Same goes for interests and hobbies.
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: Allergies--we need to know all the things you can’t have from food allergies to scents and fibers. Postal restrictions--are there things your country won’t let be sent through the mail? Sometimes this differs if the packages are sent internationally or within the same country. Simple Do Not Wants--This is the place to put things you just don’t like, crafts you really don’t want to receive. It's too hot for woollens? Don’t want to receive the same type of craft that you make? This is the place to tell us.
What kind of crafter are you? What are you willing to gift? Are you a potter or a woodworker? A knitter or a junk journaller? Do you dabble in a bunch of things? Are the things connected by medium? If so, are there things you DON’T do? This is a chance to talk about the crafts you love to do.
What country do you live in? and Are you willing to ship internationally? These two go together. If you live outside the USA, and can't ship internationally for whatever reason, we might still be able to match you. Get in touch with the mods to talk more. This year, we need everyone to track their parcels and make sure to tick 'gift' on the customs declaration, thanks!

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): Oh man, so many things. I like travel, exotic locales, landscapes, landmarks, touristy shit. I love nature, ocean and water motifs, mountains, hiking, camping, roadtrips and the music that plays on the radio to soundtrack it. I love the written word, the writer aesthetic is my jam. My favorite authors list is too massive to list. As for things I'd like, I know I should say no to bags or journals as I have a lot of both, but there is a reason I have a lot of both--it's a weakness. I like useful things. My favorite colors are blue, green and purple and any combination/shade of those. I'm keeping my fandom list to the things that helped me get through the nightmare that was 2020: Lin Manuel Miranda and Hamilton, Miranda Hart (both her show "Miranda" and her Instagram), Brandon K. Goodman's instagram, The West Wing, Killing Eve and... no, I think that's about it.
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: No allergies, no postal restrictions that I'm aware of. I also can't think of any DNWs.
What country do you live in? US
Are you willing to ship internationally? If necessary
What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? I'm a multicrafter. I did just get a Cricut for Christmas, so I imagine no matter what else I create, the recip will be getting something that allows me to experiment with it. I also got sort of obsessed with junk journals after being gifted with one last fest and hope to expand my knowledge of making more too. Basicallly, as you can tell, I like to use the opportunity of this fest and the unique likes of any participant I'm lucky enough to create for to test my limits and try new things.
Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? Yes

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): Egypt, certain deities (Lugh--Celtic, Ishtar--Babylonian, Isis, Bastet and Set--Egyptian), medieval history, Byzantine history, medieval reenacting, crafting, punk music, writing, reading, sleeping, Netflix, hydrotherapy, Tai Chi, cooking, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, France, cats, really old books, photography, junk journals, Pre-Raphaelite art, nature, weaving, costuming, tattoos, unusual jewelry, vintage things made of paper/cardboard.

Fandoms: Babylon 5, is still mainly it these days. I love Bollywood movies and Wu Xia movies too (Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor for Bollywood, Donnie Yen and Andy Lau for Wu Xia). I like MCU (Captain America predominantely and Thor) and Star Wars but not enough to participate in fandom.

Colours: jewel tones, like reds, blues, greens and black. Some silver and gold. Dark grey, like charcoal tones.

Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: No food, please. Our postal service is cracking down on that. Also nothing scented, as I have a real problem with strong scents, they give me migraines.

No buttons. I hate them. (That's buttons used for shirts, etc.) No spiders or insects either.

What country do you live in? Australia.

Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes.

What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? Junk journals. (Here's an example of some of them.)

Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? Not this year, sorry.

What about if shipping is paid for? Yikes, tracked postage from Australia wouldn't be worth it, trust me! I'm willing to do it, because I want you to get your gift, but you shouldn't have to pay our stupid postal prices.

MST3K fan Seasons 1-10!

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms):

General Interests: Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts (the aesthetic movement), Mucha, Erte, Liberty of London, Egyptian Revival, Gothic Revival, Fairy Tales, Judaism, Celtic Music, Textiles.

Colors: Favorites are metallics, orange, blue, green, purple. In truth, I love all colors, but not all at once. Monocromatic schemes are pure love. I don't wear a lot of red, but if red is your favorite color to work in, that would e fine, too. I prefer jewel tones over pastels, matte metallics over shiny metals, vintage looks over modern.

Craftwise: I've been involved in jewelry crafts since my early teens, and now, primarily the beading arts.

Fandoms: I'm currently enjoying Kingsman (first movie, not second), White Collar (old fandom delight), The Flash (first and second season only). I have a fannish interest in Morse’verse - Inspector Morse, Lewis, and Endeavour. I am also falling into the Mandalorian fandom and by extension, Star Wars.

That being said, I don't have any particular interest in receiving a fannish gift, but if my recipient wants something fannish, I'll be happy to try and make it.

Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: No food, please. No plastics, please. Nothing scented. No candles or anything to burn.
What country do you live in? U.S.
Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes, but I need to know that my recipient is not in the US before I start creating.

What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? I currently do many different kinds of beadword – bead weaving, bead embroidery, pearl stringing and knotting, and kumihimo (with and without beads). My preferred materials are glass beads, natural stone, pearls of all shapes and sizes. I work in all colors except black, and generally take a very holistic approach to creation (which means I kind of suck at following patterns and prefer to invent my own designs once I learn a technique). I would be happy to gift a custom-made necklace and/or bracelet and/or earrings in a style my recipient would like. I tend to enjoy working on larger, showier pieces, but I can scale back if I have to.

Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? Yes.
What about if shipping is paid for? I'll ship in the US, priority mail, and will not require that it be paid for.
If you participated in last round, who did you create for/who created for you?: 2020 I made for Ambyr, and I had two pinch hitters, YourLibrarian and another creator whose name I can’t recall.

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms):
Fandom-wise, currently I'm head over heels for MDZS/The Untamed (Jiang Cheng specifically, though I love all the main characters); I also adore Agent Carter, Stargate (both SG1 and Atlantis), Young Avengers (Tommy!), Vorkosigan Saga (Ivan <3), Ronin Warriors/YST, Narnia, The Goblin Emperor, The Martian.
Aesthetics: I like jewel tones (especially teals, cobalt blues, purples, raspberries-- basically, peacock colors), gold & silver, sparkly things!!!, art nouveau (esp Mucha-style swirlies), art deco, Asian and Egyptian and Space Age aesthetics, cherry blossoms & dogwood (and flowers more generally), travel, tea & coffee, languages & linguistics, dragons and griffins, enamel pins, shiny rocks-- basically if you think a magpie would like it, I probably would too.

Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: I'm allergic to nickel, wool, and possibly titanium. Would prefer nothing that's a muddied brown-ish green or orange color, no tote bags, no bracelets, and no strong artificial scents (natural scents are fine). No spearmint (peppermint and wintergreen are fine).
What country do you live in? US
Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes
What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? Primarily jewelry- generally beaded, metal clay, or resin. Occasionally rehabbing & decorating wooden items.
Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? No, sorry! First year doing this and I don't want to overstretch.

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): I'm unhelpfully between fandoms at the moment, but I'm an ex-medievalist who will always like medieval-themed things. I'm now a tree-grower and I like tree-themed anything, as well as natural landscape and/or forest-themed things. My favorite trees are western Canadian conifers, but if you also like trees and have particular favorites native to your region, I'd be happy to get to know them through crafts! My love of trees also extends to flavours and scents, so if your crafting includes scented candles or soaps/bath products or tree-flavoured non-perishables, by all means! As far as the kinds of crafts I'd like to receive, I'd be happy to get any kind of wall art or decor item. I have a lot of houseplants that are in search of decorative pots/pouches/hangers/plates, two years after moving into my apartment my walls are still pretty bare, my mug collection is always looking for new friends, my bookcases can always hold more knicknacks and picture frames, etc. Hopefully that gives you enough to go on!
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: No allergies, and no real postal restrictions, given the no food stipulation this year (though as I said, if you want to sneak in nonperishables, I won't tell on you). As far as DNWs, I don't wear jewelry or perfume, and although I love handcrafted notebooks, I already have more than I can use and would feel bad about adding more to the collection.
What country do you live in? Canada
Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes!
What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? I'm primarily a knitter, with the ability to branch out a little into sewing. I also do some canning, if anyone without significant postal restrictions wants to join me on this spring's foraging ingredients for tree jelly quest.
Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? Potentially, if I have time at that point.
What about if shipping is paid for? That wouldn't be necessary.

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): My favorite artists are Michaloangelo, Bernini, Wyspisński and Mucha and I really like Japanese woodcuts. I love water and it makes me calm and happy, whether it’s raining, the sea, or I’m swimming in a pool. I like playing volleyball a lot, but I’m pretty bad at it. I love vintage clothes and clothes related to different cultures, especially anything involving patterns. Generally I love patterns on anything. I also love things with wild west and second half of 19th to first half of 20th century vibes and anything related to nature. The series I really enjoy are Sherlock Holmes (main fandoms would be original books, Horowitz books and movies with Jude Law. I recently watched few episodes of Granada for the first time and I loved them too and I also really like absurdity of Yukoku no Moriarty manga and William and Sherlock relationship in it), netflix Carmen Sandiego series and Golden Kamuy (my favorite character is Ogata and I really like Koito and Tsukishima dynamics). I also have a soft spot for pre remake Lara Croft, because I’m making a series of short comics about her for my dearest friend, for about 5 years now and first 3 Pirate of the Caribbean movies. I don’t wear jewelry, so if a person making a gift for me would like to make some, I would probably just hang it on my wall and admire it there. Not a dnw for it, but I thought mentioning it here would be fair with creator 😊
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: I don’t think I have any allergy and as far as I know now there are no specific postal restrictions right now. For DNWs- no food please, if possible, no or little of plastics.
What country do you live in? Poland
Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes. If it’s possible, to EU country, or if not, to the rest of Europe, North America or Africa. Shipping bigger or heavier items to other places is pretty expensive from here and a little too much for me right now ;;
What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? I am drawing and painting (mostly work with ink, pastels and watercolor), linoprinting, drawing comics, making zines and sketchbooks. I like sewing things like bags, pillowcases etc, but also plushies and dolls and I like designing movie/etc posters, so I’d be happy to make a cd boxes for someone’s favourite show or band if anyone would like something like that. I did some other types of crafts in the past and I’d be happy to experiment with something completely new :D As for other participants allergies- I live in the one house with a dog and she’s cute, but looses a lot of fur, that gets everywhere.
Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? If I can afford shipping, yes 😊

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): Grey and black are my favorite colours to wear, for everything else I enjoy bright and pastel colours as well. Botany, stationery, papercraft, mail art, candles, textiles, minimalistic and monochrome design, typography, wall art and decor items, would love some dishes for my indoor plants. I enjoy dark americana and jazz music and drink way too much tea for my own good. You can browse my tumblr blog to have a general idea of my aesthetic.
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: No strong artificial scents, but natural ones are welcome. For jewelry, no earings and necklaces as I can wear only gold ones, but bracelets are fine. No holiday themed stuff. I'm not interested in fannish content. Parcel will have to be rain proof.

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): Tolkien mainly, but also Babylon 5, the MCU, Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who & Torchwood, Rosemary Sutcliff's books, classical myths and legends like Beowulf or the Odyssey, and more!

My aesthetic is bright and colourful, think rainbows and bright jewel colours, though I also enjoy more muted colour palettes such as earthy tones, monochromatics, and pastels. I love jewellery and collect it like a little dragon with a hoard. I live in a cold climate and adore knitted hats, scarves, and other accessories. I also love stuffed animals and fannish figurines I can display.

Some of the fannish things I have include: a framed copy of G'Kar's Declaration of Principles, Baby Groot in a pot, a model of the Serenity in my hall, an enamel pin collection featuring Jenny Dolfen's Tolkien art, a Porg mug, a map of Scotland stylistically rendered like a map of Middle-earth, art of the TARDIS breaking apart a la Van Gogh, and my gift from last year's Handmade Exchange, the cutest scarf in the form of an adorable dragon.

Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: Please no clothing. Accessories like scarves and hats are great, but no sweaters/jumpers or things like that, because I'm a bit difficult to fit and picky about textures.
What country do you live in? the UK
Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes
What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? I make beaded jewellery: necklaces, bracelets, earrings, that sort of thing. I'll search through my vast stock of beads and come up with patterns inspired by something in your fandom: a character, an event, etc, and make you some jewellery based on that. I made this last year.

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): I like nature, cats, birds, hedgehogs, books, typography, tarot, urban planning, trains, cooking, and board games (especially Race for the Galaxy and Terraforming Mars). If it's wool, I'll wear it--I never have too many scarves, shawls, hats, or socks. Jewelry is also great, whether simple or ornate. I theoretically like the aesthetic of journals, but I hate writing longhand, so a blank book isn't likely to get much use--on the other hand, if you want to bind fanfic or collections of poetry, quotes, or recipes, that could be fun, and I could use a portfolio that holds loose papers. Housewares in general would also be welcome, whether pillows or pottery or an afghan.

Fannishly I'm mostly into science fiction and fantasy books, with particular interests these days including Dragaera, Erin Bow's books, Michelle West's books, Octavia Butler's books, Queen's Thief, Rosemary Sutcliff's books, and Terra Ignota. (Anything I give four or five stars to on Goodreads is a good bet.) I'm also a steady fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Korra and enthusiastic about Sleep No More.

My favorite colors are purple, green, and teal in any saturation from pastel to jewel tones. Black and white or earth-tone stuff is also great; I sometimes secretly aspire to a mori girl aesthetic. When it comes to metal I'm more likely to wear silver or copper than gold.

Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: I have a mail theft problem. Please make sure anything you send is sent with tracking so I can make sure I'm home to bring it in when it arrives. Also, I'm Jewish; I am happy to make Christmas ornaments but please don't give them to me.

What country do you live in? USA

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): animals of all kinds, but cats (big or domestic), dogs, frogs, and horses especially; art: art nouveau, Baroque, Fauvism, impressionism and post-impressionism are all great!; baking/cooking/food in general; baseball (my team is the Twins, but I also am really into the history of the AAGPBL); books: His Dark Materials, Jane Austen, Shakespeare (Midsummer, Much Ado, 12th Night are my favorites), Tortall (especially Kel) and fantasy series in general; fairy tales and legends/mythology from all over, magic, witches, and magical creatures (more in the vein of dragons/phoenixes/unicorns/etc. over human-ish monsters like vampires/werewolves/zombies); florals/botanicals; Italy, especially Florence and Tuscany; music: Florence + the Machine, Hozier, Joseph, Kesha, Lizzo, The Oh Hellos, Phoebe Bridgers, plus lots more; those Nancy Drew computer games; trivia, puzzles, crosswords, and sudoku; reading/writing; romance novels and romcoms; TV shows: Bob’s Burgers, Letterkenny, Parks and Rec, Pitch, Schitt’s Creek, The West Wing. Some favorite colors: dark and rich (plum, hunter green, burgundy), muted tones (soft pink, mint, lavender), neutrals (gray/silver, black and white, camel), and pretty much anything that’s not neon. I love jewelry of all kinds and tend towards layering simple, minimalist pieces. I’m very much not picky re: how fandom-related a gift is. If you had fun making it, I will appreciate it!
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: No allergies or sensitivities to worry about, though I’d prefer nothing featuring spiders/bugs.

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms):
Fannish: Person of Interest is my main fandom, but I'm perennially fannish about Doctor Who (fave Doctors are Seven, Ten and Thirteen), Star Trek (of the Next Gen and Discovery and Picard variety), Warehouse 13 (and HG in particular), Sanctuary (and Amanda Tapping in particular)

I love mythologies from all over, I love sci-fi and fantasy and especially urban fantasy.

Aesthetically, I like bright colours but also worn edges, I like ornate and baroque embellishment but with patina and time. I love gold and silver and shimmer. I love that feel that something has been dredged up from the bottom of the ocean, and it still retains some of the glamour of its previous life.

I'm okay with wool/acrylic/cotton/silk, actually most fibres. I don't like chenille or bamboo blends.

I have cats who love jingly or rollable toys.

I've got pierced ears. I need a longer chain than most for necklaces, and I like big, chunky pendants. I like brooches and pins. I don't wear rings or bangles. I love scarves of all kinds.

I love handmade books and journals, I love paper and anything to do with papercrafts. I love boxes and things to put things in. (As a junk journaller, I'm always looking for things to put ephemera and paper scraps into.)

Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: My partner is very sensitive to fragrance, so I'd prefer a low-fragrance gift if possible. The smell of glue and paint and so on are fine. Perfume is not so fine.

Australian customs is strict on plant/animal material, so stuff like dried flowers, tea, seeds, homemade food will be confiscated. There's a searchable list here: Prohibited goods. Our postage is still really slow after the COVID congestion of 2020.

What country do you live in? Australia

Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes

What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? I crochet, I make junk journals and all sorts of papercraft things, like artist's trading cards and mini-books and greeting cards. I'm experimenting with paper beads right now.

Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? Please ask! I can't promise (essential healthcare worker, may be sent into overdrive without notice) but I'd like to try if I can.

What about if shipping is paid for? I can look after shipping, I'm happy to help someone else out with shipping if needed.

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): (This is going to be a bit random; I'm going with the first things that come to mind.) I gravitate toward smaller fandoms (Early Edition, Cupid, Northern Exposure, Slings and Arrows, Schitt's Creek) and specific characters or storylines in larger fandoms (Natasha and Ms Marvel in MCU; Tiffany Aching and the witches in Terry Pratchett's Discworld). I love a lot of musical theater-- Hamilton, Come From Away, Hadestown, and Ragtime come to mind first. Big fan of classic children's literature and illustrations from and adaptations of it, particularly Edith Nesbit's stories and Trina Schart Hyman's illustrations. Other interests include historical costume design, especially medieval Europe and the early to mid-20thC.; witches and witchcraft; the ocean; and the aurora borealis.

My favorite colors are anything in the blue/purple/green range, but there aren't any colors I hate. I'm a writer and work in education at a museum (a job I love, most of the time).

Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: I'd prefer not to receive food. I'm allergic to pollen, mold, cigarette smoke, and cats (though anything that's clean from a home with cats should be fine). I can't have scents that are highly floral in my home, as they set off my allergies (but I do love spicy scents such as cinnamon and cloves). I live in a variable climate so things for any season will be used and appreciated. I can't think of any postal restrictions, other than the current mess with USPS, which has made shipping times both to and from me quite long.

What country do you live in? USA

Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes, as long as I know before I start crafting, so I won't make something large or heavy.

What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? I sew, crochet, collage, cross stitch, and make miniatures and junk journals. I've recently started an art journal subscription box and I'm loving what I'm learning about lots of different media, so I'm willing to experiment!

Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? Yes, as long as things don't go haywire.

What about if shipping is paid for? That would certainly help!

Of course! It's from a smallish company out of Kansas City called Let's Make ArtLet's Make Art. They have monthly subscription boxes for art journalling, watercolor, and kids. Every month for the AJ box, you get a journal with multimedia weight paper, prompt and technique cards, and the media you need to complete four projects--but there's always enough to do more. There are four video tutorials every week (and anyone can watch them, even if you're not a subscriber). They also have FB communities for people who are interested in the subscriptions, and those are good for meeting others and getting ideas.

I've subscribed since September and it's been a balm to have something creative and low-stress to turn to right now. They had some issues with shipping in December/January, but they seem to have things more under control now. I recommend it if you think it's something you'd like and can afford!

Heya--sorry I'm coming in so late with this, but I wanted to let you know that a) I really flubbed up in that comment and the videos are 4/month, not 4/week!, and b) you can watch the videos and do the projects even if you don't have a subscription. As long as you have access to similar materials, you're good to go! The company is really committed to helping people be creative and enjoy art, whether or not they can afford subscriptions.

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms):
Fandoms: Babylon 5, Doctor Who (particularly Twelfth Doctor era), X-Files, The Mentalist, Buffyverse, Queen (the band), Discworld, Star Wars (especially original trilogy & the Mandalorian)
General interests: space-related things, especially black holes and astronauts
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: Nothing edible, please. I also rarely wear jewelry, so decorative wearables would probably go unused if you gave me any. Same with scents.
What country do you live in? Finland
Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes
What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? I'm an anything goes kind of a crafter :) I do woodwork, ceramics, sewing, paper crafts and whatever technique/project happens to catch my fancy. In the last year I've also taken up embroidery. On a related note, I have a cat so I'm probably not a good match for someone who's super allergic to cats.
Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? probably not

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): Folk music (both in terms of traditional ballads and labour songs - and the 1960s folk revival, i.e. people like Peter Paul and Mary, Phil Ochs, and Joan Baez.) Musical theatre and Shakespeare. LGBT history - lesbian history specifically, and most of the reading I've done is focused on Britain and France, but I'm open to anything. I've been getting into fin de siecle France lately, partially because I re-discovered Moulin Rouge thanks to the Broadway adaptation and partially because of the gay community in Montmartre at the time. I love horror movies. I love vintage-y stuff, clothing and accessories, and I've been getting into historybounding recently. Visually, I'm drawn to bright, deep colours. I'm Scottish by descent, so anything Scotland-related (barring sports, I'm not really into sports.) Smelly bath products, especially if they're citrus scented. The Tudors (that's the dynasty, not the tv show.)
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: Please no earrings. I have . . . so many earrings. Also please no food, just because shipping it would be a pain for everyone.
What country do you live in? Canada
Are you willing to ship internationally? yes
What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? I can crochet, sew, and embroider. When it comes to clothes, I can only really gift things like skirts that don't require a ton of fitting, since obviously fittings can't be done in-person. I can crochet hats, scarves, mittens, and amirigumis, and embroider . . . basically anything, honestly. Embroidery can be done on a hoop (for decoration) or a piece of upcycled clothing (i.e. a jean jacket.)
Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? Yes, if shipping is paid for

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): Lots of things!
Fandoms - I specifically like Thiam (Theo RaekenxLiam Dunbar) and Morey (Mason HewittxCorey Bryant) from Teen Wolf, (everything else about Teen Wolf I basically ignore, lol). I like Doctor Who, particularly the 12th Doctor era. Artemis Fowl (book series), Sean RenardxNick Burkhardt from Grimm (TV show), and John Pope from Falling Skies (TV show). Also, I like Blue's Clues, not kidding, it gives me nostalgic, comforting feels, so something inspired by that kids' show would make me very happy!

Other: As for other things I "geek out about", I love cutesy fashion like Lolita Fashion, otome kei fashion, casual kawaii fashion, and vintage 1950's retro fashion. I also kind of like cutesy-ified 80's looks like this worm-on-a-string bowling alley shirt. I ADORE bunnies, especially lops. I like cute stickers, washi tape, scrapbooking embellishments, and pretty scrapbook paper. I like watching various small-time/niche/indie movies and tv shows with my partner and falling in love with them and have nobody to talk about them with because they're so small :p. My favorite color is purple, but only blue-purples like violet, lavender, and lilac; I also enjoy both bright colors and pastel colors. I enjoy taking photos of the things I make with a pretty polka dot fabric background and aesthetic props all around. I enjoy beaded-type necklaces and bracelets in bright colors to accessorize with my cute fashion. I enjoy playing board games, especially co-op style ones. I am very passionate about disability/neurodiversity advocacy, including right down to getting merch with the rainbow infinity symbol on it or the quote "no spoons left, only knives". I also do enjoy the occasional merch for my orientations: aromantic, asexual polyamorous, genderqueer, and bigender; besides all the colors of those pride flags rock~ I also have secondhand fandom in puppets, animatronics, and Disney's Figment+Dreamfinder because of my lovely partner [personal profile] melodyjaikes.

Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: My partner is mildly allergic to most animal dander/fur and I live with her, so like, it's not like you CAN'T send me stuff if you have pets, but try not to give me a bonus gift of cat hair, you get me?
Also, I generally wouldn't be a great one to receive heavy to moderate weight fiber items like scarves or hats, I just won't wear them and I get too overheated easily anyway. If you do want a different option for me if you're more of a fiber crafter, you can always try to make me handmade scrapbook embellishments like this blog post suggests; mini crochet/knit appliques also make good handmade fiber embellishments in addition to flowers.
I don’t have pierced ears, so no earrings, also I’m really tricky to get a ring that fits, so none of that. Just stick to necklaces and bracelets.
I have sensory issues, so I am not a big fan of many smells. The only safe bets are sweet baked good ones like sugar cookie and vanilla cupcake. I CANNOT STAND LAVENDER SCENTS (ironic I know, my online name is literally lavender).
Finally, I just do not care for orange, muted colors (unless it coordinates with the palette of a fandom/character of course, then it’s fine!) or grungey/dark/serious/realistic/folksy anything; I'm really a cutesy, colorful, bunny girl or femme boy both in looks and in preferred aesthetics in things I own.

What country do you live in? I live in the United States!

Are you willing to ship internationally? I believe I can!

What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? So primarily, I'm a paper crafter. The things I mainly make are handmade cards, memory dex cards, and pocket letters, but I've been known to make other things out of paper goods too!
I also am an experienced wood artist (I woodburn a design on wood and then I color it in with pigmented colors) and can make 1.25" keychains & pins with a custom design on them (I've done things like a corgi, a barn owl, sword & dagger, and flowers). I've dabbled in other crafts as well, but these two categories are what I'm most proficient in. From what I've been told, my pocket letters are absolutely breath-taking and I also enjoy making them the most!

Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? Yep, sure am! As long as someone is okay with getting something paper crafty. I have done fandom character inspired memory dex cards before and I also make adorable themed pocket letters.

What about if shipping is paid for? See above answer.
