I got there - and have commented! I'm just so glad they arrived and were appreciated. I honestly had visions of them somewhere at the bottom of the Atlantic or Pacific... I knew you'd said they arrived but thought the recipient might have been just being polite or something!!

Do you have another location from which to host images?

Currently, no. I used to use either Photobucket - the free version that is no longer an option - or LJ but LJ scrapbook has stopped working for me. My images show up fine on my own posts so all I can think to do is post to my own journal and open it to 'everybody' and link. I'll try to make time to do that today or tomorrow.
