I received my gifts yesterday, and after letting elegantstupidity know, they said they'd be making a post on their own journal that they'd link but that I should go ahead with pictures. So here they are!



Three packages and an envelope dropped out of the box. I noticed at once that my favorite colors had been chosen for the wrapping!



I also noticed the travel theme in the envelope but the cute corgi drawn on the card escaped me until I read that it was Cheddar(!) from Brooklyn 99 having a fun beach vacation like I wish I was. There was more Brooklyn 99 goodness in the travel wallet and luggage tag enclosed, in bright yellow which I love.



Along with this wallet was a travel cord organizer in a nautical theme to tag in my Horatio Hornblower and Black Sails fannishness! The skeleton hid a zippered pouch and elastic segments were there to keep cords separate (and possibly untangled, though as we all know there are mysterious magnetic forces of attraction for cords which defy the laws of probability).



Lastly but of great usefulness was a The Good Place themed tote bag! I should stress that this is a very large bag, an overnight bag substitute rather than a "run to the grocery" size. Aside from its large capacity, it also has several pockets.



There's one large pocket on the outside and there are two on the inside, one a small one for keys or other quickly needed items, and a larger sized one big enough for a tablet.



I want to thank elegantstupidity so much for these wonderfully made and thoughtful items! My enjoyment of travel has unfortunately been of those things hit hard in the last year+ but items like these make me look forward to future jaunts all the more.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it all (and definitely know what you mean re: charging cords; there're dark forces at work in those knots)! And yay you found the bonus message on the bag! All that white fabric reminded me of Janet's void, so I couldn't resist.

I did, I thought it was so cute! And I should mention that the tote has already been claimed by my SO. He plays baseball most weekends and a sturdy handled tote like this is such a problem solver since few bags have the size or sturdiness for a baseball bat, shoes, water bottles, etc. We both loved Good Place and now I can measure his days out in Jeremy Bearimys 😉
