Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms):
Avengers: Tony Stark, Clint Barton are my two top favs. Followed by Bucky, Nat, and..er everyone else. But Ironman and Hawkeye are my main ones.
NASA: Everything NASA! Mars missions! Pictures of rocks that look unremarkable until you realise they're from someplace else! Vintage astronaut suits! Anything NASA is cool.
Football, hockey, softball! My teams are Dallas Cowboys, San Jose Sharks, and Oklahoma Sooners.
I also like having seasonal decorations for the apartment for the equinoxes, like small hanging quilts or table runner/place mats. (I need more summer-themed stuff!)
Hallowe'en: We never take our Hallowe'en stuff down, basically. Anything Hallowe'en themed is welcome, leaning more towards spooky, gothic, or steampunk style, and not gore or too silly. Skulls! Bats! Haunted-looking houses!
My favorite colors tend to be earth tones, greys and dark shades of color, and olive. Exceptions for Ironman and Hawkeye colored items!
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs:
So many fragrance allergies. Anything from plants - grass, flowers, pollen, trees, etc, I will likely be allergic. I have never been able to tolerate handspun wool, because of the oils from the animals. I'm not allergic to machine-milled (and cleaned) wool, but I am very allergic to cashmere, alpaca, or angora. Bits of cat or dog hair in items is perfectly okay! If I can't smell it, I'm not allergic.
Food: no dairy, no sugar alcohols. Otherwise I'm up for almost anything edible!
I don't wear jewelry except for watches. Despite being a knitter and quilter/sewist, I always need more of everything. Fingerless gloves and quilted wall hangings and drawstring backpacks are the things we use a lot and seem to never have enough of. And hats. Why do we keep losing all our hats.
What country do you live in? United States
Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes, except for food (I don't want it to arrive stale.)
What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift?
I sew - simple tote bags, zippered pouches, small quilts (I make larger quilts but would never get one done in time!) I also bake - I can make cookies or brownies or similar and can work with some allergies (like dairy-free or using non-wheat flours.)
Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? No
What about if shipping is paid for? No
If you participated in last round, who did you create for/who created for you?: N/A
