Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms):I love historical fiction (especially Georgette Heyer), historical RPF and history and mythology (especially ancient history and mythology, like Sumerian mythology and so on). I also love Diana Wynne Jones's Howl series and Chrestomanci series, and Discworld and Ngaio Marsh's Inspector Alleyn series, and also Harry Potter. I am keen on Science in general, particularly Physics, and love baking and cooking.
I like bold colours, particularly black, red and blue, and my personal style is pretty maximalist. I wear a lot of jewellery (big earrings, brooches and rings, big short necklaces - nothing delicate), love chunky handknits and socks, and have recently acquired a lot more wall space for things that hang or need display. I drink a lot of tea.
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: No allergies. I live in NZ, so any food, plant or animal products need to be commercially packaged (if you made your own tea blend, it would have to be sealed in a cellophane package, for example). Wool, leather, felt and other processed things are fine, it's just raw/unprocessed things that are a bit tricky.

A non-exhaustive list: sewing (bags, aprons, clothes, simple quilts), embroidery, knitting (big chunky things), laser cutting (wood, leather, felt and perspex), concrete, resin, woodworking. I am especially keen to make homewares and practical items.
