Round Three Sign Ups are Now Open!
As of February 9th noon est, sign ups are now closed.
Comments have been turned off.

Sign ups are open!
Please copy and paste the text from the box below into a comment.
But first, a little explanation on what we need in the sign ups and why. First and foremost, the sign ups are mostly for us to find the best matches we can with what people want to receive and want to offer. Please be as specific as you can in your request. Gifters, if you need more info, please come to us (homemade2homemademod@gmail.com) and we’ll be your go between.
Name: We don’t need your real name right now. We'll ask for that when we get your address for your crafter.
Email: PLEASE make sure it’s one that you check regularly. There are a few times throughout the fest that we will need to get a hold of you via email.
Things you geek about: We need to know what fandoms, hobbies and interests make you happy. Please be specific as you can, from favorite color, favorite character, favorite song, etc etc...You don’t want a Gryffindor scarf if you’re in Slytherin now do you? Or let's say you put that one of your interests is horses, but you are terrified of unicorns, you wouldn’t want any of those showing up on an embroidered thing, would you? Also, if you don’t want fandom related things, or only want fandom related things, let us know that too. Same goes for interests and hobbies.
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: Allergies--we need to know all the things you can’t have from food allergies to scents and fibers. Postal restrictions--are there things your country won’t let be sent through the mail? Sometimes this differs if the packages are sent internationally or within the same country. Simple Do Not Wants--This is the place to put things you just don’t like, crafts you really don’t want to receive. Not into baked goods? Don’t want to receive the same type of craft that you make? This is the place to tell us.
What kind of crafter are you? What are you willing to gift? Are you a potter or a woodworker? A knitter or a candymaker? Do you dabble in a bunch of things? Are the things connected by medium? If so, are there things you DON’T do? Do you not want to do fandom specific things? Only want to do fandom specific things?
What country do you live in? and Are you willing to ship internationally? These two go together. If you live outside the USA, and can't ship internationally for whatever reason, we might still be able to match you. There were at least two participants from every country represented last year. Get in touch with the mods to talk more. This year, we need everyone to track their parcels, thanks!

Things you Geek About (interests, hobbies, fandoms): Egypt, certain deities (Lugh--Celtic, Ishtar--Babylonian, Isis, Bastet and Set--Egyptian), medieval history, Byzantine history, medieval reenacting, crafting, punk music, writing, reading, sleeping, Netflix, hydrotherapy, Tai Chi, cooking, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, France, cats, really old books, photography, junk journals, Pre-Raphaelite art, nature, weaving, costuming, tattoos, unusual jewelry, vintage things made of paper/cardboard.
Fandoms: Babylon 5, is still mainly it these days, though I do have a nostalgic fondness for the X-Files too. I love Bollywood movies and Wu Xia movies too (Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor for Bollywood, Donnie Yen and Andy Lau for Wu Xia). I like MCU (Captain America predominantely and Thor) and Star Wars but not enough to participate in fandom.
Colours: jewel tones, like reds, blues, greens and black. Some silver and gold. Dark grey, like charcoal tones.
Any allergies/postal restrictions/simple DNWs: No food, please. Our postal service is cracking down on that. Also nothing scented, as I have a real problem with strong scents, they give me migraines, plus I'm full time caregiver to my mother, and scents affect her, double-plus, my cat has Crohn's and problems with strong smells too. It's a non scent house, here!
No buttons. I hate them. (That's buttons used for shirts, etc.) No spiders or insects either.
What country do you live in? Australia.
Are you willing to ship internationally? Yes.
What kind of crafter are you?/What are you willing to gift? A one craft girl, I am! Junk journals is what I do.
Are you willing to pinch hit if necessary? Yes.
What about if shipping is paid for?Even more of a resounding yes!
If you participated in last round, who did you create for/who created for you?: I created for

I was going to make a suggestion last year, but Life (tm) got away from me--during the off time, after the round is over, how about if members post things of what they've worked on, sharing their creations with other members?

Plus, I'd love to see what everyone else was/is doing.

But, now that I know I'm not the only one who would love to use this community outside of fest season, I'll remember to stop being lazy once it's over. ❤❤
