Beach visits
I got my gift yesterday -- I was out all day so it was a surprise to come home that night and find a package at the door!
Red Moody saw that I love beach travel and sent me the following items:

A beach towel with sewn-in pillow
A fabric tote for the towel (or other items)
2 bars of chocolate
A postcard with a fantail on it (I'm guessing because of my recurring bird photos at my journal)

Red reported it was difficult to get materials with aqua, seafoam green, and yellow, which I'd mentioned were my favorite colors. I'd never thought all the colors would end up in the gift but hey, take a look at that -- a great choice! The towel was also a close match in color to one I already have, so very well done there too :)
The chocolate, since it's a bit difficult to read, is from a New Zealand artisan collection and is Marlborough Sea Salt and Caramel Brittle with Saffron in Dark Chocolate, and Hawke's Bay Black Doris Plum and Roasted Almonds also in Dark Chocolate. This is both unexpected and incredibly welcome as my partner and I love trying new foods and it's so cool to get something that's locally sourced like that. The wrapping also is NZ oriented -- I spotted a kiwi and a Maori design so I'm guessing all the pictures depict something from the country. Now that these photos are up we can dig in :D

I also thought it was interesting to see the mailer that the gift came in, with its Maori design, so I took a photo of the explanation on the back, which is that the design represents Tiaki (care) and the role of the postal service to the mail.
Many thanks, Red!

The chocolate is delicious. We are eating just one square at a time to make them last.
